Before a prospect can participate in the Contest, he / she needs to register in the prescribed format as available on Contest Page.
Only prospects who have registered successfully and completely are entitled to participate in the Contest.
The Contest is organized by Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL).
The Contest is valid only in India.
The Contest is neither open for employees, distributors, franchisees, agents and suppliers of Virgin Mobile India Limited (VMI), Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL), Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited (TTML) nor for the relatives of such employees, distributors, franchisees, agents, vendors and suppliers of VMI, TTSL, TTML.
Contestant eligible to participate in the Contest in accordance the eligibility criteria specified in point no. 8 of the Terms and Conditions and participating in the Contest are hereinafter referred to as the “Participant/s”.
To be eligible to participate in the Contest, the Participant/s needs to confirm to following eligibility criteria:
- be an Indian citizen;
- be residing in India;
- be aged 18 years and above;
- be legally eligible to enter into a contract;
A completed / successful registration is defined as the one where, the Participant fills in all details of his / her bio-data as per the format specified in the Contest Page
Participation in the Contest needs to be in the form of submission of short film/s for a duration of maximum 60 seconds
The topics / subjects on which the short film needs to be submitted by the Participants is provided on the Contest Page. No communication, query, explanation, clarification in this regard will be entertained.
Participants need to create original short film based on the topic/subject provided on the Contest Page. No clarifications or additional details will be given to any Participant on the topic/subject and no communication in this regard will be entertained.
Participants need to upload their entry in the requisite software format (as specified in the brief) on the designated section of the Contest Page. Request for submission of entries in any other manner or form will not be entertained.
Participant needs to fill-up the entry form completely and correctly before uploading his/her short film. Incomplete forms will be summarily rejected and entries with false information (detected at any stage including after acceptance of the entry) will be summarily rejected and such Participants shall be liable for penal action.
Participant can submit as many short films, as may be intended by the Participant. Thus each participant can submit more than one entry/s.
Participant will have to sign-up an undertaking declaring that the short film being uploaded by him/her is his/her own creative work and that he/she will indemnify Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) against any plagiarism claims, IPR violation at any stage, on the work submitted by him/her.
The activity is open to individuals only. Corporate Agencies, employees of TTSL, its business associates and their immediate family members are not allowed to take part in this activity.
Entries once submitted cannot be recalled or modified under any circumstances. No communication in this regard will be entertained by TTSL.
TTSL nominated a panel of jury will evaluate the entries and its decision on the winning entry, if any, will be final and binding.
The shortlisted entries (maximum of 10) will be awarded the latest Sony Ericsson Arc Mobile Phone. One grand winner (from amongst the shortlisted entries) will get a chance to create the next TVC for Tata DOCOMO.
In lieu of Contest Prize the winner will assign IPR rights relating to the winning entry(s) to TTSL and authorise TTSL to use the winning entry (s) in whichever forums, media and frequency it deems appropriate, without any financial or any other obligation whatsoever.
TTSL reserves the sole right to announce the number of winners, if the entries are not deemed fit by the Jury, there may not be any winner announced
All announcements pertaining to the winners will reside on the Create platform which can be accessed at http://create.tatadocomo.com/create-winners.aspx, the winner declaration will happen post 15 days of the closure of the contest

Any entry submitted on or after the conclusion of Contest Period will not be accepted and no communication in this regard will be entertained by TTSL.
The winning entry(s) may be showcased by TTSL, at its own expense, on Television, Online or any other media as per its sole discretion for its promoting its brand, products, business or any other objective it deems fit.
Participant(s), with the winning entry(s), shall make himself available for various PR initiatives around the activity at the appointed date, time and place as requested by TTSL.

All entrants must agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions as described here.
Any disputes with respect to the Activity shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts of Delhi only.
Participants are not permitted to submit entry(s) on behalf of any other individual or entity.
Entries must conform to decency guidelines. Any image, film, script, strip, audio, audio - visual forming part of the film deemed to contain any content depicting violence, racial, political, religious, sexual or any other inflammatory, defamatory or objectionable material in an inappropriate manner will be disqualified and removed. Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) reserves the right to initiate legal action against such participants. Interpretation of what is, and is not, appropriate material is at the sole discretion of TTSL.
Neither TTSL nor the associate sponsor (if any) involved in the organisation of Contest will be held responsible for late entries for any reason whatsoever. It is the sole responsibility of the Participants to make reasonable allowances for upload time, bandwidth connectivity or Internet issues and plan their submissions accordingly.
Entries will be judged on creative, artistic and technical merit within the scope of the activity and topic / subject specified on the Contest Page by a panel of judges appointed by TTSL. The judges will have sole discretion in interpreting the terms and conditions of the Contest for analyses of creativity, artistic or technical merit of the entry submitted by the Participants and any other consideration as may be necessary for finalization of winners of the Contest.
TTSL will have the sole right to reveal or not to reveal the evaluation process overall or the evaluation scores of specific entries.
Judges' decisions are final and no correspondence will be entertained in that regard by TTSL.
The winners (if any) shall be declared within 15 days of closure of the contest.
All Participants must provide accurate and reliable contact details. TTSL will make all reasonable efforts to contact winners within a period of 7 calendar days after the winner declaration by way of telephonic call and SMS, on confirmation of the list of winners by TTSL.
If a winner cannot be contacted within the aforesaid 7 days period, for any reason whatsoever, then the winner will be intimated through a post. If the concerned winner does not respond to the postal communication within 10 days of the receipt of the post or if the post returns undelivered then his/her Prize will stand forfeited.
The Prize will be distributed within 45 days from the acknowledgement of the acceptance of the Prize by the concerned winner in response to the communication from Service Provider. If the winner absents from taking the delivery of the Prize and fails to collect the same from TTSL within 75 days from the acknowledgement of the acceptance of the Prize by him/her, then his/her Prize shall stand forfeited.
The Prize will be distributed and delivered by TTSL through a courier at the address of the winner, as appearing in the records of TTSL. The Logistics and cost of delivering the Prize will be borne by the winner. It is the responsibility of all the Participant to inform TTSL of any change in the address of communication, as appearing in the records of TTSL. In the event of the winning Participant responding that he/she has changed the address of communication, the winning Participant should submit proof of address change to TTSL for the proper delivery of Prize.
TTSL will have no liability to return any short film submitted by any participant.
The panel of judges shall have sole discretion in the interpretation and enforcement of rules, including but not limited to suspension of categories, participants, entries.
By participating in the Contest, the Participant warrants that he/she is the sole creator of the entry made by him/her and it is not copied from any third party creations nor does it infringe any third party’s intellectual property rights and shall indemnify TTSL, officer, director, employees of TTSL and sponsor(s), if any, from any claims that may arise regarding ownership, or any other claims in respect thereof.
In lieu of Contest Prize the winner will assign IPR rights relating to the winning entry/s to TTSL and authorise TTSL to use the winning entry (s) in whichever forums, media and frequency it deems appropriate, without any financial or any other obligation whatsoever.
The Participant shall indemnify TTSL, officer, director, employees of TTSL and sponsor(s) against any claims from any third party and consequent losses, expenses, damages, compensation, whatsoever, that may arise from any use, including but not limited to, publication of entry materials submitted by the Participant as a part of, or in association with the Activity.
The Participant assumes all responsibility and costs for delivering the entry and other required information to TTSL for evaluation in the entry submitted by the Participant.
There is no entry fee for participation in the Contest. TTSL does not require any payment for submission of films nor does TTSL offer any form of payment, actual or implied, to any Participants.
There is no chance component in the selection of winning entries. Winning entries will be chosen solely on the skill exhibited by the Participant as determined solely by the panel of judges appointed by TTSL.
TTSL will take reasonable measures to ensure the security of short film and information supplied in them. In no event shall TTSL be liable to any party, for damages / compensation arising out of any loss of entry and data supplied.
Employees and relatives of TTSL, sponsors, judges or any business associates of TTSL are not entitled to take part in the Contest.
TTSL reserves the right to suspend, shorten, modify or cancel the Contest at its sole discretion.
Participant should not deface or disparage the brand logo or music in any manner in creating their short film.
TTSL is not responsible for participant not being able understand the brief or for his interpretation of the same. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained by TTSL.
TTSL is not responsible for participant not being able to upload his work due to any reason whatsoever including temporary problems with the designated entry uploading section on the Contest Page.
TTSL is not responsible if the uploaded work does not play and hence the entry is not part of the list for evaluation by the jury.
Private correspondence or canvassing in any form will lead to rejection of the entry submitted by the Participant.
TTSL can get general public to vote on the various entries submitted by the participants at its sole discretion. Organised voting will lead to summary disqualification of the Participant/short film.
The Participant cannot post same or similar short filmas submitted for the Activity at any other blog/forum or any site.
The names of winners will be displayed on the Contest Page. The same will also be communicated individually to the winners via e-mail and/or other modes.
TTSL will not be held responsible if the communication pertaining to the winning entries doesn’t reach intended participants for any of the following reasons as mentioned:-

Incorrect e-mail address given at the time of submitting entry
Inbox of the recipient being full / having insufficient space
Bandwidth problem of the mailbox / server or the host
Time lapse
Any other reason, technical or otherwise, beyond the control of TTSL.

The Activity is open for Indian Citizens residing in India aged 18 years and above only.
All questions / queries including but not limited to claiming of the prize by the winners will be entertained within 30 days of the announcement of the winners. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained thereafter and such unclaimed prizes will be forfeited.
